This tool takes an input colour code and automatically produces additional codes for various applications, split into various palettes. It was just thrown together to speed up palette design, and put online in case it's useful to others. The code is all in Javascript, so the magic happens instantly and in-browser.
Palettes are produced offering darker or lighter shades, darker or lighter colours, more or less saturated colours, and more or less bright colours where possible. Not all colours can be taken in every direction so not all palettes are necessarily produced for a given input code. #900 for example is already fully saturated and is already the darkest shade possible without deviating from tone.
